Emma (Ogi) and Otto Bangerter

This is their wedding photograph.  They were married in 1904.

Elizabeth and Fritz, 1943 (both pictures).

Fritz was in the Quartermasters.  He was stationed at Camp Crowder, in Missouri, and also in Colorado (not sure where).

Harry and Fritz Bangerter. 

I am not exactly sure when this was taken, but Fritz looks to be around two years old here, so I am going to say it was about 1918.

This was taken in the early 1920's in the chrysanthemum greenhouse at Stuppy's Floral in St. Joseph, where Otto worked as head rose-grower.

Just Married!

Frederick and Elizabeth (Wing) Bangerter, outside her parents' home in St. Joseph on June 6 1942.  They were married at First English Lutheran Church (above).

Fritz, Mildred (Bangerter) Schroeder, and Harry, 1943.  This was taken outside their parents' house on Dale Avenue in St. Joseph.

During WWII, Elizabeth and Fritz wrote to each other almost every day (and sometimes mailed multiple letters a day).  Here, after the war, they posed with the stacks of letters they had exchanged.  I have some of these letters, but the rest have been lost somewhere over the years.
